Tell us about your role at BeFibre – what are your key responsibilities?

I was appointed as the Assistant Marketing Manager in May, and I’ve had so much fun in my time so far in the business! My role primarily consists of shaping campaign plans and managing the delivery of campaigns from planning through to execution. I also manage the relationship with our PR agency, review content for press releases, new area announcements, social copy, and blogs. 

What’s your favourite part of the job?

I really enjoy creating content and campaigns that support the campaign strategy through different channels. It’s great to see campaign ideas come to life! I also really love the people – we have a fabulous team and work well together. There are some very talented people within the business!

For you, what makes BeFibre stand out from the crowd?

BeFibre really does put its customers at the heart of everything it does, and it’s great to be part of a company that is so genuinely passionate about delivering Broadband as it should Be! I think we have a real understanding of what customers want and strive to be able to deliver exactly that – and more! 

How do you think your colleagues would describe you?

I had to ask the team this one and they said… meticulous, reliable, supportive and my favourite one… a great partner in wine!

If you were stranded on a desert island, what is the one thing you couldn’t live without?

My dogs! 

If you were the boss for a day, what one rule would you implement?

Our CEO already implements this, but we’re encouraged to take some allocated time away for ourselves every day and have that time to do whatever we want with – just some general ‘me’ time. I think it’s important – especially when working from home – to have our own time to regroup and refocus.

If you could give a colleague an award for going ‘above and beyond’ who would it be, and why?

We truly have so many talented people it’s difficult to say. I think Sinead Gilbert who is also my line manager always goes above and beyond and she is the driving force behind our team. I also think our campaign artworker Charlotte Hodge is amazing at her job and really brought our new brand to life in our recent summer campaign. It’s great that I work with so many fantastic people that it’s hard to pick just one!
