At BeFibre, we are committed to supporting our local communities in meaningful ways. When Brentwood Foodbank put out a call for donations, we quickly stepped in to help. After reaching out to understand their needs, we sourced and purchased essential items before personally delivering them. Giving back and supporting those in need is at the heart of what we do, and we take pride in making a positive impact wherever we can.

The Nest is a stunning building in the heart of Brentwood town centre—a welcoming space to enjoy a crêpe, ice cream, or just a cup of coffee. Despite the challenges they faced, BeFibre stepped in to provide them with fast, reliable full-fibre broadband. This connection has not only made their day-to-day operations smoother but has also future-proofed them for continued success.

Additionally, it offers the local community the opportunity to experience cutting-edge broadband technology and work from a great space. We love providing you with fast internet while you enjoy your coffee!

At BeFibre, we were thrilled to support the Brentwood Family Fun Days, a fantastic free event run by the council for the local community. This year, we were excited to introduce something new with our mini music festival, BeFest, and we’re incredibly grateful for the warm reception it received. A huge thank you to Abbalicious for an incredible ABBA tribute and to FloEvents for the fantastic character entertainment that made the event even more special. It was an amazing four weeks in Brentwood, engaging with the community and sharing the benefits of full-fibre broadband (FTTP).

BeFibre recently attended the Brightlingsea Music Festival, bringing our community focused approach to one of the town’s most exciting events. With a build area covering 1,900 premises and a penetration rate of 12.8%, our goal was to engage with residents, raise awareness of our ultrafast broadband services, and connect with potential customers.

Our festival presence allowed us to have meaningful conversations about the benefits of full fibre broadband, collect valuable prospect data, and reinforce our commitment to delivering a reliable and future proof broadband experience. By immersing ourselves in the local community, we showcased BeFibre as more than just an ISP, we’re a brand that actively supports and invests in the towns we serve.

It’s important to remember that not everyone is confident using the internet, and this event provided a safe space for people to ask questions, gain reassurance, and access the right tools to make the most of being online.

The internet has the power to open up new opportunities, from online grocery shopping to video calling loved ones. We were delighted to help show how digital connectivity can enhance everyday life and bring people closer together.

Last year, we had the absolute privilege of supporting Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in Sheffield by helping take down their Christmas decorations. Workshop Facilitator Combined Arts Community Projects

At BeFibre, we were excited to partner with Vikki Walsh, trading as Mae Kandoo, to bring a unique and engaging experience to our stand at the Brightlingsea Music Festival.

Vikki led an incredible free creative workshop for children, offering hands-on activities while parents learned about the benefits of full-fibre broadband (FTTP). One of the highlights was the “Make One & Take One” paper windmill activity, where participants created two windmills—one to take home and one to plant in our temporary windmill garden beside the BeFibre stand. This colourful display not only attracted attention to our presence at the festival but also encouraged creativity and fun.

To further enhance our community impact, we introduced an eco-friendly initiative: for every windmill planted in the mini garden, BeFibre donated native wildflower seeds to be used in one of Brightlingsea’s communal gardens. This initiative stands as a lasting symbol of our commitment to community engagement and environmental sustainability.
